A Support Coordinator works with participants, their families and supports, to activate and get the best from an individual’s NDIS plan.
This can include:
Helping you understand your NDIS plan and the budget you have available;
Working alongside you to find the best way to use your budget in order to achieve your NDIS goals;
Connecting you to both community and paid services and providers;
Working with you to negotiate with service providers to get the service and help you need;
Making sure you are on track with your plan and budget and helping you develop a network of different supports; and
Assisting to resolve issues as they come up and building resilience in your network.
At all times we work with you, making sure you are in control of choices and decisions.
